In my mentoring I can trace most of my core training to the book Success In 10 Steps. This page is focused on this great book and your comments about it. I have started it off by posting my thoughts on some of the chapters. Please feel free to jump right in and contribute your points of view.
Chapter 1 – Bottom Fishing for Heavy Hitters
Wow – I had been lied to! All those years of hearing:
Recruit, recruit, recruit…
It’s just a numbers game…
Lots of no’s to get to the yes’s…
Make a list of 100 people…
The 3-foot rule…
Close the sale…
Follow the script…
… were all ploys of the heavy hitters. They lied to us when they told us we could build successful businesses using these tactics. Well over 90% of us fail miserably doing this and it’s Not Our Fault! I want to make sure I never fall prey to these “heavy hitters” again.

Chapter 2 – Look Deep, Deep, Deep Into My Eyes
Have a strong “WHY” to see you through to your goals. I must have a strong why because through all my failures I didn’t quit. Thank you Lord that I didn’t quit this industry.
And it can’t just be about the money!

Chapter 3 – A Big Research Surprise
Research shows that luck isn’t random. Could it be that we are in control of our own luck? I believe so – to a certain extent.
Even though we are part of a world that brings a lot of positive and negative events we can greatly increase our chances of “luck” by the positive that we project out into the world.
The wider you cast your web of positive actions the greater the chances of it being reciprocated by others. This could result in all kinds of “good luck” coming your way.
As for the “Law of Attraction” that’s being taught so much these days. What do you think? Do you believe that your thoughts and vibrations attract what comes into your life?
