Has Internet Marketing got you confused and frustrated?
I created this blog because I was once confused and frustrated with internet marketing and I didn’t want others to go through the same experiences I did. I became overwhelmed with all the options for marketing. I wanted to find the most effective techniques that could be implemented in the shortest amount of time. I also needed a simple blueprint to follow.
Through lots of trial and error I finally found the training that I was looking for. I will be posting these steps here on my blog and I want to eventually get them all in a pdf document that you can download. So stick around, come back often and I hope that you will find some steps that you can implement to attain your Web Prosperity.
The first constructive thing I learned was I shouldn’t be announcing my product to the world. Imagine that! I think that’s a mistake that most of us have made. People don’t want to be sold, even if they have come online specifically looking for something. They first want to buy from someone they trust. For example if they want to start a home business they will look to join one with a person that they like and trust. They also want to know that you will be there to help them.
You certainly cannot convey little if anything about yourself from your generic, cookie-cutter affiliate website.
My first recommendation is to create a blog. Begin posting to it regularly. Don’t blatantly sale, sale, sale but offer value to your readers. You could put your affiliate website URL after your signature at the bottom of each post. Put your contact details and your affiliate website URL in the static side column.
You could also create a website that has a personal flair to it and add the RSS feed of your blog to your website. If you update your blog regularly that RSS feed is also putting fresh content on your website. The search engines eat this up and push your website and blog higher up in the engine. That’s always good because there is a better chance of someone finding you when they are doing a search. Search engines are not particularly happy with affiliate websites and google usually will not even post them.
If all of this sounds a little too complicated, let me tell you – if I can do it, I bet you can too. Look at it as an adventurous journey. There may be peaks and valleys but it will be okay because you have a travelling partner now that will help you up if you fall.
Come back tomorrow where I will post more detail about creating a blog.
To your Web Prosperity!
