3 Top Reasons Why Entrepreneurs Fail
1. They have low self-esteem. They don’t like to talk to strangers, have a sense of “I’m not worthy.”, easily think it’s their fault, always apologizing, don’t accept compliments well, and don’t call their sponsor because they don’t feel worthy of their time. And there is an epidemic of low self-esteem out there.
2. They can’t laugh at themselves. Take things too seriously, not relaxed. They analyze things too much and too long.
3. They live in the past. Constantly remembering the past instead of embracing the future. Basing the future on what has happened in the past. They don’t accept change – like new technology.
And I’m going to throw in a fourth reason for good measure.
4. They listen to people that don’t have the life or belief that the entrepreneur wants.
Of course there are many other reasons but I feel these are in the top four. I would like to briefly talk about how these fail factors can be overcome.
Overcome low self-esteem – It’s all up there between the ears. When you get a mental cleanse at http://www.30daycleanse.com you realize that your self-esteem and self-confidence were there all along and just needed a safe haven to be revealed. This mastermind group created by Michael Dlouhy of Mentoring For Free provides a weekly journey of self discovery like none other. You have the option to observe or participate but watch how much your self-esteem grows by participating. I have learned so much about myself and love hearing other members interpretations also. It has allowed me to see my true power within and be able to use it.
Being a part of Mentoring For Free also builds self-esteem and self-confidence because of all the skills training you get, the system you have confidence in using, and the mentoring you get from all the experienced mentors in the system as well as your personal mentor that will guide and encourage you.
Learn to laugh at yourself – I know to feel validated as a person you want to be taken seriously but let’s not go overboard here. You should be confident enough to share a faux pas or embarrassing blunder you have made and have a good laugh. I have found that when I allow others to see the real person that I am (and that includes my imperfections) most often, it will strengthen the relationship. And besides, it’s just fun!
Live in the Now - Quit fretting over the past or the future, live in the now. Many rely on past experiences to gauge whether they will succeed in the future. It is beneficial to learn from your past mistakes and experiences but don’t limit yourself by thinking you ‘can’t” do something because you were never able to before. With your new found self-esteem and confidence the possibilities are limitless.
Things are always a changin’ so embrace it. Don’t be afraid to learn new systems and technologies. In today’s competitive business climate, it is necessary. Don’t assume it is too difficult. I am using a state-of-the-art Mentoring For Free Marketing system with all the bells and whistles. If this old dog can learn these new tricks, I know you can.
and finally…
Don’t seek the opinions and advice on your entrepreneurial aspirations from others that aren’t already doing it successfully. More times than not they don’t have the same mindset that you do. They may even think they need to protect you from this terrible decision you are making with your life – to be an entrepreneur. Don’t let the dream stealers take you down.
We at the Mentoring For Free Mastermind are having great success and fun. Come join us and learn how entrepreneurs SUCCEED!
